This live event will explore the transformative role of movement in trauma therapy through both theory and direct experience. Drawing on research-based principles and Katrina’s deep background in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, expressive arts, and developmental trauma work, the session will include experiential exercises and practical applications for clinicians across the lifespan.
You will learn to:
- Describe the research behind movement and bilateral integration in trauma therapy
- Understand the role of gesture in supporting healing
- Adapt movement-based interventions for different ages and developmental needs
- Create your own improvisational movement strategies grounded in theory and client-centered pacing
